When I started at MV Kelly as a Trainee Quantity Surveyor at 18 years old, I never imagined having a career in the construction industry. Through the opportunities and guidance MV Kelly has given me, I have felt empowered and pushed to be the best I can be. I am now a Senior Quantity Surveyor at 23 years old and continue to be supported by my managers and directors to progress within the company. MV Kelly has great opportunities for hardworking individuals, and I would encourage anyone considering the industry to give it a go.

MV Kelly has always supported and encouraged me to achieve everything I’ve wanted to do, having joined the company in the middle of my accounting studies I have learnt so much. 10 years later and as the Finance Manager I still feel that same support and comfort, but also still learning new things and developing myself as a person. One of my favourite things about MV Kelly is how involved we are within the local communities and several charities, it is a fantastic company to work for with incredible values, they encourage hard-working, good people to be the best they can be.

When I joined MV Kelly at 18 as an accounts apprentice I thought this was going to be my only career path. However, with the many opportunities MV Kelly has to offer I switched to the Plant Department and found myself a lot better suited. I’ve worked very hard over the last 5 years and with the support of my managers and directors I am now a Logistics Manager at 24, following my promotion last year. I would encourage anyone to work at MV Kelly no matter what point you are in your career.
