SHE Advisor (Multiple)


M.V. Kelly are looking for a Safety, Health and Environment (SHE) Advisor to join a strong team. You will work on a variety of housing groundworks projects covering between 20 – 30 sites. You must have the flexibility to travel between site locations.

This is a fantastic opportunity to join a large contracting company with an excellent reputation and commitment to health and safety.  The company continues to grow year on year and hence this position offers the successful candidate the opportunity to work on exciting developments, great job security, realistic progression and a competitive package.  Your role will be split between office and site locations and it will be your responsibility to ensure standards and procedures are being maintained and liaise with clients and internal staff.

Assistant Quantity Surveyor / Quantity Surveyor  - 20/019 Oxford Office




An excellent opportunity for Quantity Surveyors to gain invaluable experience and to progress their career with a highly reputable construction company, within a high standards and high rewards environment. We are looking for either an Assistant Quantity Surveyor or a Quantity Surveyor to join our oxford team.


You will assist with and work towards management of all costs relating to projects.  Learn the process from initial inquiry and estimate through to when the build is in progress and on through to final costs.  Learn how to ensure that costs are minimised and enhance value for money, whilst ensuring that the Company is achieving required standards and quality.  You will learn how to understand and adhere to statutory building regulations.  Assist the Company to realise its Mission Statement and values in particular to provide a safe environment and equipment on our sites and expect everyone to stay safe.

Plant Apprentice (Office) - 20/017 - Head Office, Birmingham

We are looking for a bright, highly motivated and ambitious individual to join our fast-paced plant department as a Plant Apprentice.


This is an excellent opportunity to start building a career in construction whilst undertaking work-based learning. You will finish the apprenticeship with both a professional qualification in Business Administration Level 3 and real practical experience of the area that will more than equip you for the job of a Plant Assistant.


M.V. Kelly has a considerable investment in plant and is the largest contracting purchaser of

Hitachi plant in the UK. A solid workforce and modern plant allows the business to deliver work to a high standard that has been well recognised by clients. The company operates a 3-year replenishment cycle policy and purchases additional items to facilitate the demanding workload. All plant is subject to a planned preventative maintenance schedule and M.V. Kelly pride themselves on the high standard of their plant, with presentation for the business and clients being key. By owning and maintaining our own plant we can ensure we have the best and safest equipment without being reliant on external plant hire.  M.V. Kelly’s fleet consists of excavators, dumpers, commercial vehicles, and cars with a combined fleet holding a figure of just under £42m.

Plant Fitters


Location: To cover the Oxfordshire and Gloucestershire area

We are looking for a qualified Plant Fitter to repair and maintain machinery of up to 30t. The successful applicant will be based from home and a van / phone is provided.
