Continuing to reap the benefits of our office move.
This tree would have looked ridiculous folded in half at our Tyseley location!
Since last updated we have begun work on over fifty new sites of various sizes on behalf of sixteen different clients.
These sites include the usual mix of housing units, road and sewer works, S278 works etc.
This was one of our first Hitachi EX215's purchased in the year 2000 from HM Plant and delivered from their then premises in Coleshill, Birmingham. A great piece of nostalgia and testament to the levels of investment by the Kelly family throughout the company's history
MVK are pleased to welcome the delivery of another 5 21t GPS prepared Hitachi machines and 20 13t units.
We have over 150 large (over 30t) machines coming in to MVK this year.
Brian Kelly - Construction Director - Ox & West (Main Board) said "It is part of our continued growth and replenishment schedule and we look forward to a really productive 2021"
Thanks to Stephen Munt for sending in this superb picture taken whilst on a search for wildlife to photograph in Oxfordshire. Please feel free to send in any photos to firstname.lastname@example.org whether you work for MVK or are an interested civilian!
It has been a long time since we have announced all the new and exciting work we have been taking on.
Recently we have started on sites in Lubbesthorpe, Bourne, Ruddington, Newbold Verdon, Reaseheath, Newent, Sandford, Thornton Cleveleys, Carrington, Whittesey and Barrington amongst others.
These works are on behalf of many different clients and include groundworks for over 1,000 houses, 4 apartment blocks and all the associated road and sewer works.
A site on which we are working has won a prestigious NHBC award.
Kirk Raine (David Wilson Homes Mercia) scooped the Large Builder category of the Pride in the job supreme award for the Doseley Park site in Telford.
We are proud to be associated with this and congratulate our operatives for their hard work and quality end product on the site. We hope to continue working with DWH to collect many such prizes in the future.
The use of drone footage is becoming an increasingly useful tool for M.V.Kelly.
By embracing this technology we can relay up to date progress to our clients with a level of detail not previously possible.
The drones can also be used for site security purposes and footage shared between departments.

M.V.Kelly are working with the charity Betel UK on a project to build sheltered accommodation for 48 people requiring a community based recovery from addiction. The job includes groundworks plus a newfoul water treatment plant and associated soakaway.
Betel UK is an independent Christian charity for men, women and families affected by the hardships that lead to social exclusion, especially homelessness, dug & alcohol abuse and long-term unemployment.
Paul & Karen Whelan are supporting this charity throughout the build. Many M.V.Kelly suppliers have kindly assisted Paul & Karen to allow their funding to stretch further through the build process

As you can see all Covid procedures are in place!
