Further to his picture abseiling down the inside of the Northampton Lift Tower in the last Dig Issue here is Doug on the outside. The improved weather meant he got a better view of Northampton following his charity fundraiser earlier in the year.
Another M.V.Kelly athlete is Adam Woodward, quantity surveyor from the Swan Valley offices. He competed in the London Marathon in April, finishing just behind Mo Farah . Adam helped raise over £3,000 for UK Youth.
Surely the only time you will see a trophy and a Villa kit in the same picture! Here is a photo of the winning team from our Spring football tournament. The matches, plus the quiz night, both held at West Warwickshire Club, helped raise nearly £3,000 for charity. Thanks to Derv, Emma & James for organising things, plus all the suppliers who donated some spectacular raffle prizes.
Congratulations to Earl Smith who competed in the Coventry Half Marathon to raise money for children with cancer. Not bad going for a 61 year old! Earl works in the Small Works team.

Following our Three Peaks Challenge, Paul Whelan our Managing Director, Tracey Dickens (DWH Commercial Director), Andy Preston (DWH Commercial Director) and Matthew Vale (WATES Framework Manager) delivered a cheque for £54,668.70 to the Birmingham Children's Hospital. This grand total was raised from the successful 3 Peaks Challenge organised and partially funded by MV Kelly Ltd.
We were delighted to visit The Birmingham Children’s Hospital to hand over the cheque to the Donations department and see where the money is going and the specific medical equipment, wards and children the money is so desperately helping. Once again, a huge thank you to everyone that participated in the charity event, a fantastic achievement all round!
